Healthcare & Aged Care Class 9a, 9C & 5 Design & Specification Fundamentals by USG Boral

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Recall the requirements of the AU Standards in relation to healthcare facilities and aged care for fire AS 1530.1 AS/NZS 3837 acoustics AS/NZS 2107 and seismic AS/NZS 1170.4,2 wind loading AS/NZS 1170.2
  2. List acoustic, fire, seismic and wind pressure requirements for classes 9a and 9c or class 5 if a private healthcare clinic
  3. Recite requirements and guidelines for Radiation Protection, Impact resistance and infection control
  4. Write specifications and schedules that nominate type, quality and performance standards with regard to selecting materials, finishes, fittings, components, systems and special items.
